Dinorwic, Wales by Matt Holland

Having explored much of the lower levels of the mighty quarry in North Wales, we opted to visit the upper levels to explore what hidden gems the slate quarry hid. However on the week we were visiting, several storms and rain bands were blowing through which left the slate soaked and created better conditions to photograph but was incredibly hard in that timing and patience was needed, as well as a good waterproof as we all sat out on the exposed slate quarry floors, open to the elements shivering behind our cameras and tripods.
