Skogafoss, Iceland by Gregg Cashmore

I've just returned from my first visit to Iceland. What a fantastic place! A photographers paradise to say the least. I had several waterfalls around the south to visit and Skogafoss was my first on the list.

I'd visited the waterfall during the daytime but there were a lot of people around to get an image so I headed back during the midnight sun and I was the only person around.

Capturing the image was fairly hard due to the powerful wind and water spray from the falls.

Skogafoss runs from two Glaciers and is 60 meters high and roughly 25 meters wide.
