Devon Tree, Brixton, England By Gregg Cashmore

This is an image that has been on the cards for at least a year now and it is close to home, which is even better. Without the mist surrounding the tree, the scene it would be too cluttered but the misty conditions separate the tree from the background, making it the main focal point in the frame.

Photographing trees is becoming one of my favourite photographic subjects. If the weather is not great for big vistas or seascapes, you can head for the trees.
