Miami, Florida, USA by Antoine Fletcher

I'd been chasing storms for over a year before i was able to finally capture this image. At the time i was working security at a high-rise in downtown Miami so i had unrestricted access to the building and both of its rooftops. I saw there was a pretty big storm coming in that night so i decided to make an attempt to catch lightning for the very first time. I made my way up to the 54th floor of the building where i began to setup my camera and of course it started raining heavily.. It rained for about an hour and at that point i decided to give up and go home. I didn't want to drive in the rain so i was just going to wait until it stopped. But lucky enough as soon as it stopped raining the light show started! I went outside on the 54th floor balcony and 30 minutes later i captured whats probably the luckiest shot of my career, so far that is 🙂
