My original plan for the evening was to capture the sun setting over the bridge at Deception Pass. Hiking to this view along the beach at low tide, Mount Baker appeared across the bay. Baker bathed in pink alpenglow light is a sight to behold. So I had one shot back at the bridge and behind me in the opposite direction, Baker in alpenglow. Now just the waiting for the light amongst the seagulls and gentle wave action.
This shot was done with Sony's Smooth Reflections app using standard water smoothing settings and no filter. This provided a gentle smoothing to the water in the bay and a bit of a reflection of Baker's light. I adjusted the white balance on the RAW file to get the colors correct.
