Life on Mars, Utah, USA by Kathleen Croft

Roaming around Southern Utah we came upon this crazy scene. It really resembles Life on Mars. There are so many areas to explore in this region. One could spend a few months here and still discover new places each day. The terrain all around is so varied and no two areas are similar. To explore in this place can keep you busy and fill your memory cards with every corner.Just be certain to carry a lot of water. It is a dry and desolate area.

This little Fujifilm is an amazing camera. I also used a Really Right Stuff bh-30 Gitzo traveler and a lee 3stop hard edge grad filter.

I am a landscape photographer who would much rather be out shooting than home cleaning my house. I love being out in the tranquility of nature and seek to find new compositions in this complex world.
