I've started to look back at old photos I have taken in past couple of years, I've really noticed I big improvement in my post-processing skills. This photo I originally discarded but after some time re-processing the image, I now think It may be one of my favorites.
It also holds a lot of meaning to me as this was my first ever morning waking up in the Lake District, getting out of bed at 4am to walk up Loughrigg Fell. The weather forecast for the morning was not looking great but when I got to this spot over looking Windermere the clouds started to roll away and low hanging mist lingered around the valley below. I took this image just before the sun peaked over the near by mountain tops.
