Upper Falls at Hocking Hills, Ohio, USA by Sheila Reeves

In October I visited Hocking Hills State Park in Ohio, USA. It was late afternoon when I got to Upper Falls and the water in the pool at the base of the falls was a murky brown. I decided I would revisit the location the next morning. I was glad I did because the pool had taken on a peaceful turquoise hue. I composed the image to include the yellow foliage showing through the window created by the rocks and the foot bridge. I also liked the repetition of the yellow in the flowers blooming in the rock face.

Camera Sony a7rii
Lens Sony FE 3.5-5.6/28-70mm
Aperture f/22
S/S 5sec
ISO 50
Additional Notes I used a 10-stop ND filter to get the 5 second exposure.
