Arctic Fox, Canada by India Burchell

While the weather was freezing to us humans, this did not seem to bother the friendly Arctic Fox, whose species can withstand temperatures of -70 degrees. Their summer grey coat has now turned to pure white and has thickened out to help them hunt in cold temperatures. This fox was not interested in us and not disturbed by our presence, but as we were about to leave I took this photograph as it looked at me and in that moment I felt a connection between us.
