Sligachan, Isle of Skye, Scotland by Michaela McGuirke

I have woken up to a frosty morning on Skye and caught up with a friend, an excellent photographer with the intention to head to Isle of Raasay for a bit of landscape photography.

As we were travelling through the Glen Sligachan, the cloudy sky opened and released dramatic sun rays that were lighting up a part of the Cuillin mountains. We jumped out of the car and quickly headed deeper into the Glen Sligachan not to loose the moment of such a special light. I managed to capture this moment, before the sky changed.
