A mid week trip up along the Antrim coast in Northern Ireland hoping to capture a nice sunset. We had some really nice colour in the sky when I arrived but it quickly disappeared.
With about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns at this natural wonder usually compositions are endless how ever the ocean was throwing the biggest waves I have ever seen which meant I had to keep a good distance for safety.
I really liked the red that popped into the sky for a few minutes and managed to capture this image. I like how you can see a small wave breaking but literally a few seconds later standing on the very same spot I managed to get hit with one. Thankfully just a little water on the filters and me nothing to serious.
