Sandymouth bay can be found in the north of Cornwall in the UK. This was taken on a cold evening in the middle of January. The waves were crashing in over the beach and I was alone with just the wind and the magnificence of the ocean.
After trying to establish a series of compositions I finally found this small outcrop of rocks that created a leading line to a small patch of light in the far distance. This is a series of three blended images taken in a very short space of time. Luckily I was wearing boots and waterproof socks as five minutes later I was hit by a freak wave that managed to soak me to the skin.
