Two Medicine Gale – 130km winds sweep across Two medicine lake at dawn. Shooting in near hurricane force winds definitely adds a lot of complexity to a shoot, especially when water is involved. The wind was so loud and I had what amounts to a plastic bag wrapped around my camera so I didn’t realize I had left my 2 second shutter delay on for the first hour of shooting. As a result, my timing for the crashing waves was way off and I had to use a shot I took later for the foreground.
