Dragons Breath, Patagonia, Chile by Neil Boomer

During the final day of a three day storm, I battled the horizontal rains and famous Patagonian gusts to set my tent n the beach overlooking the famous mountain. Looking for an interesting foreground subject I found this driftwood which resembled a dragons head. It had washed ashore at some point in the crazy storm. I set my composition and then went to bed hoping my gamble would pay off in the morning.

Sure enough when I woke the next day the storm had passed and the lake was almost still. I was super happy as the sunrise started and I was blessed with a beautiful sky which mirrored the shape of the beach.
