Salmon Cove Sands, Newfoundland, Canada by Paul G. Goyette

Arriving early at my spot . I started shooting with my camera on tripod as the sky was getting more and more colorful (Nd 10 stops + ND grad on my lens). As the sun came up I removed my 10 stops ND. My main goal was to capture a sunburst on the seastacks (which i also got). I was quite happy with the shots I took, but I have an anecdote concerning the making of it...I had left my ThinkThank camera bag lying on a rock on the beach roughly 10 feet behind me and as I was concentrating on framing my shot I heard my partner shouting "Hey Paul, there's a dog peeing on your bag!". By happy chance I had my bag closed and zipped. I guess that this early morning visitor wanted to tell me I was on his territory...that's the story of my shot.
