The Kidney Lake, Bulgaria by Yuliyan Ivanov

I call this situation "Wink". The mountain winks us, because on the left side of the hill lies the deepest glacial lake on the Balkan peninsula - so-called "Eye" with it's 37.5 meters depth, which is already covered by the ice and snow till next spring. The other one - so-called Kidney lake is still unfrozen and uncovered by the snow.

Both lakes are called that because of their shapes and are part of the Seven Rila Lakes - a group of glacial lakes, located in the northwestern part of Rila Mountain, Bulgaria at average altitude of 2400 meters above the sea level.
