Phare Du Petit, Brittany, France by Agastya Mishra

Phare Du Petit Sunset

This lighthouse is called Phare du Petit Minou, located in France.
Taken moments before sunset, the sky and the lighthouse were bathed in red glow from the setting sun.
This lighthouse was constructed in 1848 and I was standing right on the edge of a run-down bunker which I had to climb to get this view.
If you look closely enough, you will see a group of people who made it to cliffs behind the lighthouse. They were young teenaged girls who eagerly and fearlessly dove right into the waters, surfing and swimming against the crashing waves as I witnessed the whole scene (beauty and action) in amazement and awe.
The memories of this surreal scene would forever be etched in my mind.....I hope I did a bit of justice to this historic place.
