Kopren waterfalls, Bulgaria by Yuliyan Ivanov

Rain, mud, fog, slippery stones and waterlogged fallen branches and above all - lack of people. I believe this is the best time to spend a day into the mountain enjoying the mighty of the water.

On the shot: The double jump - 10 meters high Kopren waterfalls, located on the Bulgarian-Serbian border under the peak Kopren (1964m), Old mountain. This waterfall is just one of the many waterfalls the area is full of (the others are: Durshin jump, Lanjin jump, Water jump, etc.). The complete tour is approximately 20km and could take more than 5h. It is advisable to be done with a local guide, since the area is not quite well marked and you can find yourself on the other side of the border.
