Byers Peak, Colorado, USA by David Simms

This image was shot before sunrise from St. Louis park. The temperature was about -2 degrees. During the almost three and one half minute exposure, I spent a great deal of time walking around in circles trying to keep my toes from freezing. It was an odd morning with the morning glow from the eastern horizon. Resulting in the orange glow in the the sky. I took several shots later but the orange disappeared as fast as it came.
