Steppe Eagle, Little Rann, Gujarat State, India by Rumit Patel

The Great Rann of Kutch is a salt marsh located in the Thar Desert in the Kutch District of Gujarat, India. It is about 7500 sq km ( 2900 sq miles) in area and is reputed to be one of the largest salt deserts in the world. This area has been inhabited by the many winter migrating birds in this desert which is also a Indian Wild Ass Sanctuary, It is currently listed as Near Threatened. A bright new day starts for Steppe Eagle in Little Rann (Desert) of Kuttch, in Gujarat State located in India. It is a pleasure to see this bird and photograph it.
