Little Bee-eater, Serengeti, Tanzania

While waiting near the Mara River (on the Tanzanian side) at the end of september for a herd of gnus to cross the Mara river, we had ample time to look for smaller game like this little bee-eater and his companions. After a couple of hours the crossing did take place. Fortunately for the gnus there was no crocodile in the river. And the bee-eater posed very nicely.
