Mount Maunganui, New Zealand by Ewan Dunsmuir

Part of a Youtube Tutorial, this image was taken ay Mount Maunganui, NZ on a very beautiful day where the light was shaping up to be something special about 2 hours form Sunset. The sun is behind me and i decided to take this as a four shot vertical Pano, with a telephoto lens to bring the Ship into the picture.

The sky lit up like fireworks once the sun had Just dipped behind the horizon which was behind me. this intense light occurs when you get Diffracted light form the setting sun, cutting through Pollution believe it or not..... not that there is much pollution in NZ!
